Donuts and Dinosaurs

One of my kids' favorite things to do when they go to visit Grandma and Grandpa Walton is go with them to the Dinosaur Museum, and this trip did not disappoint!  Not only did they get to go to the museum, but we also got to go to the beautiful gardens and splash area nearby AND they got Krispy Kremes on the way.  They were understandably thrilled beyond words.  Here are some of the pictures from the day:

The kids with Grandpa eating donuts:

Now THAT'S a happy boy:

Evie and Kelly;

i love this one:

Sophie LOVED the splash area.  In fact, Sophie just all around loves water, which makes me nervous.  I have to keep both eyes and usually at least one hand on her at all times.  But isn't her swimsuit ADORABLE?  She got it for her birthday from Grandma and Grandpa:

Calvin loved it, too:

 Lily is quite a runner.  See her there?  She is headed for that gate.  One time we lost track of her for seriously like 15 seconds while all the other kids were crying and she had made it through the gate, across the sidewalks and grass, across the street and halfway through a parking lot.  A nice stranger brought her back.

Luke, Evie and Ryan having fun in the gardens:

I love this one of Mom and all the grandkids.  They all sure love you, Grandma!

Sophie was intrigued by the tulips:

I love this one of Calvin.  I'm pretty sure he is usually at his happiest when he is running as fast as he possibly can, which is what he is doing here:

Lily at the gardens:

Sophie and the Supersaurus:

Evie was really sweet and played dinosaurs with Sophie.  She had so much fun!

Sophie smooches!  We're trying to train her to close her mouth...

 And you've already seen this beauty, but it deserves restating:

Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!  The kids had such a great time spending the day with you!
